Phone Software & Download Apps Utilities
Please be sure that your PC matches the following requirements before selecting one of the utilities above:
- Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher installed on your computer
- If using a USB Data Cable your computer operating system should be: Windows 98 SE™, 2000™, ME™, and XP™
- If using an RS232 Data Cable: your computer operating system should be: Windows 98™, NT 4.0, 2000™, ME™ and XP™
1 To update Phone Software and/or re-download the Download Apps Application, you will require a Data Cable. Click here to find out more about serial and USB data cables for iDEN phones.
2 This utility may require a Flash USB data cable, part number MYA2003B or Motorola part number NNTN6367A. The upgrade utility only needs a flash cable if the software version in the handset is "R4C.01.00" or older. If the software version in your phone is newer than "R4C.01.00", the standard USB cable can be used to upgrade the software in your handset.
Please note that only Java-enabled phones may use Download Apps. To determine if your phone is Java-enabled, see the list of phones on this page that may download the Download Apps Utility. Download Apps also requires that you are signed up for a wireless web plan. Please contact your wireless carrier for more information.
