Get the most out of your iDEN phone with iDEN Utilities - you can update your phone operating system to the latest version and re-download the Download Apps Application for Over-The-Air (OTA) downloads to your iDEN phone.1

Phone Software & Download Apps Utilities


Please be sure that your PC matches the following requirements before selecting one of the utilities above:
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher installed on your computer
  • If using a USB Data Cable your computer operating system should be: Windows 98 SE™, 2000™, ME™, and XP™
  • If using an RS232 Data Cable: your computer operating system should be: Windows 98™, NT 4.0, 2000™, ME™ and XP™

 

Please Note: If the Upgrade Utility for your handset is located in the list below, you should proceed to download, install, and use the Upgrade Utility to upgrade the software in your phone.

Please Note:If the Upgrade Utility for your handset is located in the list below, we recommend that you upgrade the software in the handset using the appropriate Upgrade Utility, then use the “Download Apps Utility.” Download Apps will allow customers experiencing the java authentication error to re-download Download Apps and all subsequent preloads and purchased java apps Over the Air (OTA).

Please note that only Java-enabled phones may use Download Apps. To determine if your phone is Java-enabled, see the list of phones on this page that may download the Download Apps Utility. Download Apps also requires that you are signed up for a wireless web plan. Please contact your wireless carrier for more information.
